Windows OS, Adobe, java etc performing updates in the background will always get a not reponding on my computer, so I set the updates to notify me but not install until I'm ready. There are various things that can cause any program to not respond. I've tried starting windows and Thunderbird in safe mode as well as switching off my anti virus. Try to start '''Windows''' in safe mode with networking enabled. If I don't find a real solution soon I will be forced to try another email provider, Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in safe mode. Try to start Windows in safe mode with networking enabled. Including switching off the AV Bitdefender I've been all over the internet and tried every "solution" ![]()
